Digital Literacy Practitioner Qualification: My reflections

Reflections on the course

This is the reflective journal that I'm putting together as part of my participation in the Level 3 Digital Literacy Practitioner qualification... It will cover:

  •  4.1 (028) Reflect on own knowledge of digital literacy.
  •  4.2 (028) Evaluate own delivery of digital literacy sessions to Digital Literacy Learners.
  •  4.3 (028) Develop a personal action plan in order to improve practice.
  •  2.4 (032) Reflect on the delivery session using the digital observation record.
  •  3.1 (032) Create a digital reflective practice record.
  •  3.2 (032) Evaluate own delivery of digital literacy learning.
  •  3.3 (032) Reflect on feedback from others.

My reflective vlog

This is my first go at vlogging, which seems to be how many younger people communicate with the outside world. My youngest son loves to watch vloggers who share their video game reviews and walk-throughs, so maybe in future vlogs I will do some screen recordings of the tools and techniques I use in my teaching practice.

One bit that's missing from this video are my reflections on feedback from others: as yet I don't have the feedback from the National Education Union who I was working for in Wrexham on 14th October. I'll include my reflections on this feedback when it's available.

Here is my second reflective blog post
